《Nothing is Complete》 is the inaugural exhibition at cync featuring Hannah Woo and lan Cheng. The show brings together Woo Hannah’s fabric installations, which fluidly traverse the boundaries between body, emotion, and the non-human, and lan Cheng‘s realtime simulations that construct autonomous worlds driven by algorithms and Al. Focusing on states that remain in progress, updating, failing, and trying again rather than reaching completion, 《Nothing is Complete》 offers a vivid experience of how the real and the virtual are increasingly entangled today. As a hybrid institution dedicated to the intersection of contemporary art, technology, and simulated environments, cync launches its program with this exhibition and introduces the unsettled worlds jointly shaped by Woo Hannah and lan Cheng.

《Nothing is Complete》는 우한나와 이안이 참여하는 cync의 개관전입니다. 이번 전시는 신체와 감정, 인간과 비인간의 경계를 유연하게 가로지르는 우한나의 패브릭 설치 작업과 알고리즘과 인공지능을 기반으로 자율적으로 작동하는 세계를 구축해 온 이안 쳉의 실시간 시뮬레이션을 한 자리에서 선보입니다. 완결된 결과가 아니라 끊임없이 업데이트되고 실패하고 다시 시도되는 진행 중인 상태에 집중하는 《Nothing is Complete》는 현실과 가상이 서로 깊이 얽혀 있는 오늘의 감각을 생생하게 드러냅니다. 동시대 예술과 기술, 시뮬레이션 환경의 교차점을 탐구하는 하이브리드 기관 인 cync는 이 전시를 시작으로 우한나와 이안이 함께 만들어가는 불완전하면서도 역동적인 세계를 선보입니다.
